Today's Prayer

A Prayer for Living in God’s Love

Thank You Jesus for sending Your Holy Spirit to indwell in me, comforting, counseling, advocating, and helping me through my everyday life. 

Teach me what it means to live in Love, Lord. 

Help me to fully accept Your love, and willingly pass it on to all people You have purposefully placed in my life. 

Jesus, let me be quick to apologize wholeheartedly when I cause hurt to anyone. 

Help me to not grieve the Holy Spirit. 

And let me be quick to forgive as you have forgiven me and not wait for an apology.

Give me the ability to give with pleasure and not wait for praise or reward from people. 

Jesus I need your strength to obey your commandment to receive your eternal life and light.

Amen
