Today's Prayer

A Prayer Asking Jesus For A New Start

Dear Jesus,

A new year often feels like a fresh start. 

A new hope for a new life completely different than what I used to do and live. 

As uncertainty, trials, and world events compete to draw my attention away from You, I come to You now, Lord, asking for Your help to make me focus on You and You alone. 

I want to live a new life filled with Your presence. 

You are the source of my life. 

Away from You is death not life. 

It is a fake life filled with fake emotions. 

Lord, please, help me to abide in You. 

I do not want to be one day up with You and another down in this ugly corrupted world. 

I rebuke every evil and sinful spirit that attack my soul in Jesus name. 

I rebuke you Satan and all your temptations. 

Lord, I promise You that I will fight the good fight and I will be a warrior defending myself with my precious armor that You gave me, which is, Your name. 

In the name of Jesus I rebuke the spirit of doubt, the spirit of confusion, and the spirit of witchcraft. 

I declare with a loud voice that I choose Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. 

In His name I will be a new creation. 

I submit myself to my Lord to sanctify me and change me to His image and likeness. 

I give you Lord all the honor and glory now and forever. 

Amen.
