Today's Prayer

A Prayer To Thank Jesus For His Love

Dear Jesus,

Thank You that You loved me first. 

Your love is unconditional not dependent on my actions or my performance. 

I cannot earn Your love, or lose Your passion. 

You are faithful even when I am not. 

I want to say boldly like Apostle Paul,”who shall separate me from the love of Christ? 

Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” (Romans 8:35) 

Lord, what a gift that nothing can separate me from Your love. 

Help me remember that Your love is different from human love. 

It can not be lost or abused. 

It is abundant, sacrificial, unconditional, holy, filled with grace and mercy. 

Your love Jesus is not transactional, it cannot be earned. 

It is by Your grace that I have been saved, through faith. 

Help me to please Your heart. 

I want to obey Your word and reject anything that separate me from You. 

You are my love and light. 

May I remember every moment that I am loved by my creator, king of kings and Lord of Lords.

The very essence of who You are, is love. 

Help me Lord not only receive Your love but also be able to spread it to all people around me. 

I praise Your name with thanksgiving. 

Amen.
