Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Wisdom To Manage Our Time

Dear Jesus,

First I want to thank You for being my Lord and Savior.

What a privilege to have You my Savior.

Thank You Lord, for giving me a job, family, and friends.

I always remind myself to run to You when I feel that the enemy, the devil, tries to invade my mind and throws his scary thoughts.

Now, Lord, I am under his attack of fearful thoughts of overwhelming, confusion, and mismanagement of my time and day.

Lord, I need Your wisdom to manage my time.

Right now, I am having a hard time getting in much of either, time to invest in my family, relationships, or a day of rest.

Work is so stressful right now.

I have too much to do.

I need too many hours to get my job done appropriately.

But Lord, doing my job right, takes a lot of time and this let me have no enough time for anything restful and restorative.

I am starting to burn out and this is affecting my family and my relationships.

Lord, I ask You to help me with Your wisdom to figure out what to do with work so I have more time for my loved ones and have more rest.

I also ask that You give me Your strength and power to manage my time and give my family the time they deserve.

Let me love them as I love myself and my work.

Let me depend on You not my strength to fulfill all the responsibilities I have.

Lord, forgive my pride and my selfishness.

I admit that I love my work more than my family because I love myself and my accomplishment at work.

It is my pride that let me be careless and ignore my family’s responsibility.

Forgive me Lord.

I sprinkle Your precious blood on me and every member of my family for the forgiveness of sin.

Lord, I repent and promise You that I will rely on You not my strength to manage every aspect of my life.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.
