Today's Prayer

A Prayer Asking For Jesus’Help In Difficult Times

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for being a loving Lord Who cares for all the difficulties that I experience at work. 

I know Lord, that work is part of life, as per Your word in the Gospel. 

Your word says in the letter to the Colossians, that whatever we do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord we will receive the inheritance as our reward. 

But Lord, I am so stressed at work and I am dealing with a boss that is hard, uncaring, and sometimes I even feel like he is out to get me. 

If I push back and defend myself I could lose my job. 

Lord I could not bear this situation and it is causing me so much stress. 

I feel I am sick and so heavy to work or even do anything at home. 

Please Lord, come and help me in the Holy Spirit. 

Send now, Your Spirit of peace and comfort to calm me down. 

If it is Your will to continue working in this place, please give me patience and wisdom to deal with this man. 

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit to be able to rebuke my boss’ evil spirits towards me and be able to work while focusing on You Lord. 

I rebuke the spirit of stress and anxiety in the name of Jesus. 

I rebuke the devil’s plan to let me quit from my job which I do like and have a lot of experience in. 

Please Lord, come now, with Your strength and power to abolish every heaviness weighing on me and give me power to deal with all the evil spirits that attack me. 

I declare now, that I will put on the armor of God and I will not be hurt or react negatively to all the mistreatment that I face at work, on the contrary, I will rebuke it and I will lift my eyes to You Lord, to receive the power of Your Holy Spirit in me. 

I declare that I am a child of God and I will not fear even if I walk In the darkest valley. 

And I will say with Saint Paul in his letter to the Hebrews,” The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. 

What can man do to me?”. 

I trust Your word Lord, that You will never leave me nor forsake me. 

I love You Lord, and I thank You that You came to save me from all the distress I face. 

I give You all the praise and the honor now and forever. 

Amen.
