Jesus Proclamation Of The Trinity (John 11:40-42)

“Jesus said to Martha, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. 

And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 

And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” (John 11:40-42)

When Jesus was about to raise Lazarus from the dead He talked to Father God out loud thanking Him for hearing His request. 

He did not need to talk to the Father out loud, but He did so to reveal that He and Father God are One. 

He is the incarnated Word of God. 

He talked to Father God out loud to reveal to us the Trinity. 

Everything He did while He was the Son of man was for our sake. 

He taught us everything through His incarnation. 

Jesus said that He did so to tell the people who were standing by Him, that He and Father God are one and that they may believe that the Father has sent Him to us.

He also wanted to teach the people around Him at that time and us now, to how we should pray with faith for a miracle to happen. 

To have a miracle we should have a sincere faith in God. 

Miracles are God’s powerful authority over our materialistic world. 

Father God is able to do all the impossible for us, by His Incarnated Son, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. 

We all must praise the Trinity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, for His salvation plan for all humanity. 

Amen.
