Engage More Deeply With The Gospel (1Corithians 2: 10-12)

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. 

For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 

For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? 

Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” (1Corithians 2: 10-12)

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. 

It is so powerful in sanctifying us to change us to be in Jesus’ image & likeness. 

It unites our hearts and aligns us closely with the heart of our Lord. 

The word of God in the Gospel reveals all the truth about the Holy Trinity and guides us to the way to reach Him. 

We must read the Gospel everyday and engage more deeply with the word of God. 

We cannot sustain a Holy Christian life on the scraps of a Sunday sermon at church, or in a bible study sessions. 

Being quiet before the Lord and meditating in the word of God helps us to have a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit, on a daily basis, and in turn, it trains our ears to hear Him speaks to us. 

The more we surround ourselves with God’s word, the more it will become embedded In our hearts and the more deeply we will engage it. 

It will guard our emotions and attitudes and make us always aware not to sin and give us the ability to not submit to our inner selfish emotions, but to submit to Christ’s Lordship over our lives. 

The word of God gives us warnings as well as advices to what we should do or what we should avoid to live a righteous life full of God’s presence. 

It makes us know God’s will and understand what He desires from us to be true children of God.
