Today's Devotional

Thank You God For Your Grace

Father God,

Thank You for Your grace, Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent Him to my world to save me from my enemy, the devil. 

He took my body and overcame all the evil spirits on the cross. 

Lord, I do not know where I would be without Your salvation plan. 

As I look back over this past year, I see both the choices I am thankful for which I have made by Your guidance in the Holy Spirit, and the moments where I did not obey Your word, and I was tempted by the devil, which I put them all now under Your precious blood for forgiveness. 

I confess the ways I have fallen short, and I receive Your forgiveness now. 

As I step into a new year, help me walk in confidence as the new creation You have made me to be.

St. Paul said in his letter to the Corinthians,” if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. 

The old has gone, the new is here!” 

Please Lord, let me believe that I can change to Your image and likeness and be a new creation. 

Help me to abide in this truth and surrender all myself to the Holy Spirit to sanctify me. 

Please Lord, erase all my sins and make me white as snow. 

Let me release the weight of my past mistakes, knowing You have made all things new. 

Remind me that Your grace does not run out and that with You I can begin again. 

Please Jesus, let this year be the greatest revelation of Your grace I have ever experienced. 

I give You all the honor and glory now and forever. 

Amen.
