The Love Of Jesus (Jude 1:23-24)

“To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy — to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen” (Jude 1:23-24)

Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, defeated the devil, our enemy on the cross. 

He gave us His authority over sin and death in His name. 

In the name of Jesus we can overcome every temptation and trial. 

In His name we are saved. 

Jesus not only saved us from all evil spirits, but He also protected us and made us more than victorious. 

When we consider our salvation, we must always hold this perspective in our minds, that He is the One who has saved us, and He is the One who will uphold us. 

One day we will all stand before the Lord. 

The confidence we can have on that day is not how good a job we did in keeping ourselves, but in the strength and power that Jesus gave us to endure until the end and overcome sin. 

This journey of salvation was never about our ability to obtain it or keep it. 

It has always been about Jesus’ love to save us, deliver us, and help us in His name to live out this salvation every day. 

The ones who are the strongest in their walk will live in this truth and continue to grow stronger still. 

The ones who do not, will find this walk most challenging because they are trying to accomplish it in their own strength. 

Always remember that when we are weak is when we ever experience Jesus’ strength in our life. 

Amen.
