Today's Prayer

Night Prayer

Dear Jesus,

Before I go to bed tonight I want to confess to You that I am so often long to know what is coming next because uncertainty makes me anxious. 

Anxiety kills my peace everyday. 

The fearful thoughts are forced to come to my mind and this leads me to depression. 

Come and save me Lord. 

I want to be free from fear, anxiety and depression. 

I know that peace does not come when I just control fearful thoughts, but it does go away when I trust in You, Lord. 

I trust in Your holy and almighty name, Jesus. 

I rebuke all the fearful thoughts in the name of Jesus. 

Please, Lord, help me in the Holy Spirit to surrender my mind and my fearful thoughts about the future to You and rest in Your perfect love and peace. 

I proclaim loudly that I am a child of God and I trust in Jesus’ love to me. 

You are my Shepherd and my Savior. 

Please, Lord, remind me when my plans fall apart that Your ways are better than mine. 

Thank You for being my peace, my protector, and my provider in every season. 

Thank You for giving me Your overcoming power over all the evil spirits. 

In Your precious name Jesus I rebuke anxiety, fear, and depression. 

I love You Lord and I praise Your almighty name now and forever, amen.
