Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Help To Forgive Others

Jesus my Lord & Savior,

I confess that it is so hard to me to forgive those who have betrayed me and disappointed me. 

I know that You have said that if I do not forgive, You will not forgive me. 

I know Lord, that You have forgiven me many times when I did not deserve forgiveness. 

But You are a good God and full of compassion and mercy. 

Please, Lord, help me in the Holy Spirit to forgive from the bottom of my heart, all people who betrayed me, and never remember the lack of loyalty whenever I see them. 

I want to obey Your command and forgive them in order for me to be forgiven also. 

I want to have a heart like Yours and say, ”Father forgive them cause they do not know what they are doing.”

I know, Lord, that I cannot do this by my own power, but in You I can. 

Fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit to forgive. 

In You I can do impossible things that I cannot do alone. 

Lord, I trust You to guide me through the process of forgiveness and choose to leave reconciliation in Your hands. 

Please, teach me how to pray for my enemies, and love those who have hurt me. 

I am so thankful for Your salvation plan to save me from the spirit of death that intends to destroy me emotionally, spiritually, and physically. 

You saved me from the spirit of sadness, guilt, and disappointment. 

Now, I can hand it all over to You, obey Your command, Your word of wisdom, and walk in Your will. 

Jesus, thank You for guarding my soul and spirit from distress and sadness. 

Thank You for loving me and filling the gap of my grudges with Your love. 

Thank You for Your patients and your forgiveness to me. 

Lord, I love You for You are so kind and merciful. 

You are everything I need. 

Please, help me not to get trapped again to this spirit of lament and sadness, and be trained to let go all the hurts. 

Thank You Lord, for easing the pain of disappointment as only You can. 

I give You all the honor and praise to Your name with thanksgiving, now and forever. 

Amen.
