Come To Jesus, He is Gentle & Full Of Mercy (Mathew 11:28-30)

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Mathew 11:28-30)

Jesus today is calling all who are weary and burdened to come to Him to release them from all the evil spirits that attack them and give them rest.

This is a great promise to all those who believe in Jesus and love Him.

Most of us are weary and burdened for various reasons.

Everyone is going through something, and most of us quite understand the meaning of to be weary and burdened.

He, the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth, is the One who is asking us to come to Him and take His offer of rest and peace.

What an amazing God that we have.

His promise is to give us rest just if we go to Him and receive Him in the Holy Spirit.

What a privilege we have, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, is our protector and savior.

Praise the Lord, that we are called to be the children of such an amazing God, who is always for us and never against us.

He is humble and full of mercy on us, he knows our weaknesses.

He came to our world and defeated our enemy and gave us His overcoming power over all the evil spirits.

He has lifted up our souls and placed our feet on level ground.

He is a good God, and we can turn to Him with anything.

With our heavy, burdened hearts, we can turn to Him now in prayers asking Him to fill us with His peace and rest.

Amen.
