Today's Prayer

A Morning Prayer For Families

Our Heavenly Father,

As we begin this day, we come before You as a family united in Your love. 

We thank You for the gift of companionship and the bond we share. 

Lord, bless our relationship, fortify it with Your grace, and deepen our connection with each passing day. 

Lord, please, help us to obey Your command and pray together with one mind and one spirit to receive Your promise of answering all our prayers. 

Lord, may You fill us with Your love for one another. 

Help us to love each other with Your love, a sacrificial love, not the love of the world. 

Let us respect each other and be humble. 

Lord, we confess that the spirit of pride always attacks our relationship and ruins our unity. 

It makes us not able to cover each other weaknesses and always get us hurt each other. 

Remind us Lord, to rebuke this spirit every time it attacks our souls. 

We want to be humble as You are humble. 

You said in the Gospel of Mathew,”whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 

And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mathew 20:26) 

Please, Lord, give us the power in Your Holy Spirt to serve each other with love and not wait for the reward. 

Our reward is from You, Lord. 

Make every member of our family to intercede to each other. 

Please, Lord, make our family be a small church, Your body. 

Make each one of us worship Your almighty name with praise and honor. 

We all love You Lord, praising Your name with thanksgiving. 

Amen.
