Payer Asking For Jesus’ Light To Defeat Darkness

Dear Jesus my Lord & Savior,

There is a time where it is a bit hard on me.

Whenever I hear bad news I feel overwhelmed and I feel darkness all over my life.

Lord, I need You to help me see the light in You again.

I know that You are the Light of the world and You have overcame the darkness.

I will admit, sometimes the darkness still feels too scary for me, and I shy away.

Please help me to stand strong in Your strength and to know that Your light causes the darkness to flee.

I am trusting in You, and I know that You have already defeated the enemy, the devil, on the cross.

Thank You, Lord, for giving me Your almighty name as an authority over all the evil spirts.

In You, Lord, I am victorious.

Remind me always when I face the devil’s temptations that I have Your strength within me to reject all his spirits.

You are my refuge, Lord.

Please help me to see who I am in You.

I am a child of God.

I can rely on You, Jesus, and abide in Your Spirit.

Thank you for the privilege to be a partaker in Your Spirit.

Lord, I promise You that I will love You from all my heart and I will surrender everything in me to You.

I will obey Your word cause You are the truth.

I give You all the praise and glory, now and forever.

Amen.
