Today's Prayer

A Prayer For A Grateful Heart

My Lord & Savior,

In this precious moment of praying to You, I will start my day promising You that I will yield my soul and other parts of myself to You. 

Your love for me is genuinely unyielding. 

I know that Satan wants me to despair, but I am free not to be so. 

You have liberated me and called me Your own. 

I am reassured. 

I commit now to sharing Your love by helping others to come to You as I did. 

Thank You for sending the Helper Your Holy Spirit to sanctify me and make me a new person. 

I want to be in Your image and likeness. 

I want to live a holy life to see Your holy face and never be ashamed in that day when You will appear in Your glory to judge the living and the dead. 

I am so grateful to You Lord, and I have so much to be grateful for. 

Please Lord, always remind me in the Holy Spirit of the many blessings You have given me. 

Help me to give thanks to You in every circumstance. 

Forgive me for the times I have had an ungrateful heart. 

I am thankful for everything You have given me, first of all my salvation. 

Thank You for setting me free from the fear of death. 

Thank You for waiting for me patiently, knocking at me door day and night, to come to You and rest in Your arms and lay all my sins and burden at Your feet. 

Thank You for forgiving me for all my transgressions and You will never remember my sins. 

Thank You for giving me hope to be purified and be free from sin. 

You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 

I praise Your name with thanksgiving. 

Amen.
