Today's Prayer

A Prayer To Jesus for The Gift Of The Church

Dear Jesus,

I am so thankful to You for Your Body, the church. 

Without having brothers and sisters in Christ around me, my life would be very tough. 

Yes Lord, You said that You are the vine and we are the branches. 

Please help me to abide in You and in Your body. 

We all are so incredibly in need of You power and Your strength. 

I ask You Lord to come now and fill us with Your Spirit of love and unity. 

You said if we come together in prayer with one mind and spirit, You will answer all our prayers and give us all what we ask for. 

I ask You Lord, to help each one of us to set aside our differences and to be united in the Holy Spirit. 

To love one another as You have loved us. 

Help us to truly live out a life of true love, Your unconditional love. 

I know that this is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

So today I come to You Lord, asking that You would move across our church in miraculous ways, with fresh willing and awareness, turning us, Your children and Your body, back to You, and drawing others to come to know You. 

We all need Your unity and Your love to stir our hearts and give direction to our ministry and our lives. 

We need Your spirit to lead us, to live out godly lives that would bring honor to You. 

We need Your wisdom to guide us. We need You Lord, to increase and we decrease. 

You are a faithful God who is full of mercy and compassion. 

I thank You Lord, that You are always with us and give us great purpose and hope. 

I believe that You will never forsake us. 

I trust You Lord and very thankful for the change and the transformation that happened in each one of us through the work of Your Hoy Spirit in us. 

I praise Your name now and forever, amen.
