Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For The Spirit Of Hope

Dear Jesus,

I am so distressed and filled of hopelessness. 

I want to focus on You and read more of Your word to be filled with Your Spirit, the Spirit of hope. 

Lord, most of my time i do not feel great at anything besides trying and failing in my work, in my marriage, in motherhood, in my creative pursuits at everything. 

Please, Lord, help me see beyond my failures and remember that because of Your goodness and mercy, I have a reason to try again, to believe in Your hope and to keep moving forward. 

I rely on Your grace to lift me up and be filled with Your Holy Spirit. 

I will say with the Psalmist, ”surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. 

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” 

Thank You Jesus for giving me Your overcoming Spirit in the Holy Spirit. 

Thank You for loving me and been patient with my weakness. 

Give me now Your power to overcome all evil spirits. 

I promise You, Lord, to receive You now and feel Your presence within me. 

Thank You that I am having hope to be released from the sense of guilt and all the devil’s bondages. 

Now in the Holy Spirit I declare that I will obey Your commands and I will rebuke the spirit of confusion, fear, and anxiety and be ready to receive Your hope in me. 

I love You Lord, and I praise Your name now and forever. 

Amen.
