Today's Prayer

A Prayer for Spirit-Led Life

Dear Jesus my Lord,
I need Your help to be led spiritually in all aspects of my life.  
May Your Holy Spirit lead me in my work and help me to be joyful and creative. 
Please Lord, remind me of Your love and that You are the reason I have breath in my lungs. 
Teach me to align my work, family, church life, and rest in a way that would maximize Your glory and allow me to bear the most fruit for Your Spirit. 
Cause my work and attitude to adorn the gospel and shine Your light and life-giving into this dark and desperate world. 
Help me bless my workplace by living a salty and gospel-worthy life in front of my watching coworkers.
Help me honor my boss and my coworkers to show them Your love to them. 
Make me Your representative in any place I go. 
Make my heart worship and enjoy you throughout the day, knowing that you are the reason for breath in my lungs and the One I am really serving. 
And as I work, fix my eyes on You and Your salvation plan for me that gave me the power to overcome all the evil spirits and be able to rest in Your peace that no one can take away from me, and a living hope that will fuel me to work for Your glory. 
I praise Your name now and forever.  
Amen.
