Your Father Who Sees In secret Will Himself Reward You (Mathew 6:1-4)

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. 
Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 
Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. 
Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 
But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.” (Mathew 6:1-4)

The word of God that we just read reminds us that anything we do, we do it as for the Lord. 
We must not wait to be recognized or rewarded by men, but know that our reward is from our Lord. 
There are times when we feel like no one sees us. 
We show up, pour out our effort, or our money, work very hard, and love well, but feel unnoticed and overlooked. 
In those lonely places, Jesus speaks to us, saying, “You are seen.”
I see your good work and your charity and I am the One who will reward you. 
So we all should know that our good works and actions are to glorify our Lord not ourselves.
He is the One who sees all the visible and invisible works. 
He commands us to do charitable works in secret unless we would be tempted to be praised and rewarded by men and we lose His reward which do not perish and eternal. 
Jesus is reminding all those who feel invisible that their eternal value and identity are in Him.
Whether you are hidden in a crowd, working behind the scenes, or walking through quiet struggles, He sees every tear in your eyes, and every injustice that has fallen on you. 
Jesus is the One who will wipe every tear and compensate you for all your tiredness. 
He is the one who will defend you while you are silent and will reward your good work. 
We live for Him and to glorify His name as He promised to glorify us also with Him. 
Amen.
