Today's Prayer

Thankful Prayer For God’s Grace

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for Your abundant and abounding grace.
Thank You for the overflowing of Your blessings that flows freely to all who seek You. 
Thank You for intervening in my life and allowing me to have a personal relationship with You to the extent to be united with You in the Holy Spirit. 
Thank You for the unmerited favor You have showered on my life. 
Help me Lord, to put myself in the path of Your love and grace. 
Thank You for disciplining me because whoever You discipline is Your true son.  
St. Paul said in his letter to the Hebrews, chapter twelve, ”For whom the LORD loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.” 
I thank You Lord, for Your chastening, for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 
I thank You for giving me the privilege to be Your son. 
I love You Lord and praise Your name with thanksgiving. 
Amen.
