Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Presence

Dear Lord,
I ask You today to come and fill me with Your presence. 
May nothing separate me from You forever. 
Please Lord, teach me in the Holy Spirit, how to choose only Your way today so that each step I take will lead me closer to You. 
Help me walk by the Word of the Gospel and not my feelings. 
Help me, Lord, to keep my heart pure and undivided and be the temple of Your Holy Spirit to dwell in. 
protect me from my own sinful thoughts, words, and actions. 
Please Lord, keep me from being distracted by my needs, my lustful desires, my thoughts on how things should be. 
Help me to to see and embrace all what You send and come my way, as an opportunity rather than a personal inconvenience. 
Please Lord, I want to rest in Your truth. Great is Your love toward me. 
I love You Lord, and I want to follow You and obey Your word boldly and confidently. 
In Your precious and Holy name I pray. 
Amen.
