Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking Jesus To Be filled With His Spirit

Dear Jesus,
I am calling upon Your Holy Spirit this morning to guide me throughout this day. 
I want Your Holy Spirt help me to stay grounded and centered. 
I invite the Holy Spirit to fill me with wisdom, strength, and peace, so I can approach each moment with His discernment and grace. 
Please Lord, I want to be filled with the Spirit to spread Your love, goodness, joy, and faithfulness wherever I go. 
Let me desire to be more like You and to thank You in all I do.
Help me desire to be in Your image and likeness more than the sin that entices me. 
Lord, I really want You and I want to obey willingly Your word and command and give the Holy Spirit my heart to change and purify. 
I love You Lord, and I promise You to empty myself from every worldly and lustful desires, and be ready for the work of Your Spirit for sanctification. 
In Your precious and holy name, I pray. 
Amen.
