Jesus’ Strength Is Made Perfect In Our Weaknesses (2 Corinthians 12: 7-9)

“And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 
Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12: 7-9)

Jesus’ words to St. Paul that we read now, encourages each one of us to lay down the pressure that the world puts on us to be strong and instead lean fully into His strength that never fails. 
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, knows our weakness and our limited capabilities as human. 
He is our creator who knows well more than we know about ourselves. 
He descended to our world, taking a flesh like ours, to give us His strength and power in the Holy Spirit. 
He does not despise our weakness but instead He asks us to lay down the pressure to be strong and lean fully into His strength. 
We have to ask Him for all what we need in prayer with faith, and He promised to answer all our prayers in His perfect time. 
He meets us in our weakness and covers it with His grace, and equips us with His power. 
So whatever we are facing in our lives, we must always remember that His power is enough because He is with us and His grace is sufficient for us. 
Jesus’ power is made perfect in weakness. 
Amen.
