Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Strength

Jesus my Lord & Savior,
I know that because of You, I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life.
Jesus, I need Your strength in the Holy Spirit. 
I know that nothing in this world can separate me from Your steadfast love.
Please, give me Your strength today to endure the trial I am facing now. 
Thank You fo Your love to me that never ends. 
Thank You for the hope that fills me whenever I read Your word in the Gospel that reminds me that in You I am more than a conqueror. 
Please Lord, move Your Holy Spirit more boldly in my life. 
I know that my sins grieve and diminish the voice of Your Spirit in me. 
But please Lord, forgive me and give me the strength and power to reject every seduction and temptation to sin. 
Help me crave Your presence more than I crave sin which I became addicted to. 
Help me grow in the fruit of the Spirit and so walk closer to You. 
I pray for guidance from Your Spirit to let Your will and promises always be a meditation of my heart. 
In Jesus’ holy name I pray. 
Amen.
