Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking Jesus To Fulfill His Promises

Lord Jesus,
Today I come to You because I woke up anxious for the days ahead. 
I hear the news everyday that is very terrifying. 
I live in a world that bombards me with fear and anxiety.
Please, Lord help me to remember Your promises that You are with me. 
You are a loving Lord who wants me to rise up in the morning, confident in all what You promised and said. 
I ask You Lord to remind me every day of Your unwavering faithfulness and that I can have Your peace with assurance that You are with me throughout the day. 
I open myself now to the work of Your Holy Spirit to fill me with Your comfort and strength into every moment of my life. 
Lord, I confess that I doubt that all Your promises will be fulfilled in my life and I do not take hold of them to be mine. 
But today, I am putting my foot down and I will reject all the doubtful thoughts that separate me from You and throw me into the fiery fire of the devil, my enemy. 
I trust in You Lord, and You alone. 
I will live in hope and faith to receive Your promises of peace and protection. I will not allow the worldly wisdom and reason to take me out of my inheritance in You Lord. 
I will set my foot down on every promise that You have given me today. 
I love You Lord and I surrender my everything to You. 
I glorify Your name now and forever. 
Amen.
