Today's Prayer

A Prayer To Speak The Truth

Dear lord,
I ask Your help in the Holy Spirit to speak the truth of Your Gospel in this corrupted world. 
As You know Lord, that in this ugly world the truth is often challenged and compromise feels easier. 
Standing for the Gospel’s values requires courage, clarity, and deep reliance on the Holy Spirit. 
I know that I am called to speak the truth boldly and graciously. 
Please help me Lord , to be faithful in word and witness, and be unafraid to represent You Lord, in my home, community and culture. 
Thank You Jesus for the truth of Your word that never changes. 
In the time when the Gospel is often opposed or misunderstood, I ask You to give me boldness to stand for the Gospel’s values with conviction and compassion. 
Help me not to be silent when I should speak. 
Help me to speak not with arrogance, but my words reflect Your wisdom and my actions reflect Your grace. 
When fear rises, remind me that I am not alone and let Your Spirit empowers and goes before me. 
Teach me Lord, to speak the Truth in love. 
To hold fast to righteousness without becoming self-righteous. 
Help me to represent You well in how I live, love, and lead. 
Please Lord, let me always ask and pray for boldness, not comfort when faced with resistance. 
May my life point all people around me to Jesus and stand firm in the foundation of Your Gospel. 
In Your precious and Almighty name, I pray. 
Amen.
