Today's Prayer

Prayer asking For Jesus’ Peace & Strength

Dear Lord,
First I would like to thank You for saving me from my enemy, the devil. 
Thank You that You are greater than anything I may face in my day today. 
Thank You that Your presence goes with me and Your joy is never dependent on my circumstances, but it is Your true and lasting strength, no matter what I am up against.
I ask, now Lord, for Your peace to lead me and guard my heart and mind in You. 
I ask for Your grace to cover my life today. 
Lord, I confess to You that I am weary and do not know when this struggle will end in my life. 
I want to obey Your commandment smoothly and happily.
Every time I struggle to reject the devil’s temptations and obey Your word. 
I feel that I am in a race and like I have been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. 
Help me Lord to stop trying to outrun my pain and rather run with endurance the race You have set before me. 
Lord, please help me to believe that in Your Holy Spirit I will overcome all the evil spirits and I will win the war. 
In Your precious name I ask and pray. 
Amen.
