Today's Prayer

A prayer For Jesus To Ease My Heartache

Dear Lord,
My heartaches as I think about everything that has happened in my life recently. 
I know that all the bad things that happened to me are consequences to my bad decisions and everything that I did wrong. 
I confess that the devil always whispers in my ears trying to blame You not me. 
Forgive me Lord, for blaming You for my broken heart and questioning why You did not save me and allow these things happen to me. 
I come to You now Lord, in an act of repentance. 
Forgive me Lord, for all the sins I have committed against You. 
All the wounds I have are because of my transgressions. 
I repent now Lord, promising You that I will live according to Your word and commands in the Gospel. 
I am bringing my wounded heart to You because I need Your healing power to cure me. 
There is nothing and no one else who is able to heal, comfort, and restore my brokenness. 
Thank You for Your understanding that exceeds mine and how You pour out blessings in abundance. 
I rejoice in You, my Healer and Restorer. 
I trust You to ease my heartache and give me renewed hope and joy. 
In Jesus’ holy and precious name I pray. 
Amen.
