Today's Prayer

Prayer To Start The Day Talking With Jesus

Dear Lord,
At the start of this day and every day of my life, help me to recognize You above all else. 
You are my Savior and my Redeemer. 
I glorify and honor Your name now and forever.  
You know everything deep in my heart and every thought in my mind. 
You know even the number of my hair. 
You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. 
I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. 
I know that Your love for me is not based on my performance. 
You love me, warts and all. 
This makes me happy and want to please Your heart, Lord. 
What really makes me blessed and full of joy is that the Savior of the world would desire to hear my voice and wants me to ask Him for anything I need. 
Lord, help me to remember forever what a gift it is to be God’s beloved child and to sit with You anytime and in any condition. 
Please Lord, enlighten the eyes of my heart that I might see You and notice how You are at work through my life. 
Give me wisdom to make the best choices and fill me with a desire to seek after You more than anything else in this world. 
Let Your Holy Spirit breathe in me His power to make me a new person. 
Thank You that You saved me from the slavery to sin. 
Thank You for giving me Your eternal life in the Holy Spirit. 
I glorify Your Holy name now and forever. 
Amen.
