Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Power Over Sin

Dear Father God,
I am deeply grateful to You for reaching out and extending Your love to me first. 
Thank You for letting me able to love others by sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to our world and redeeming us. 
Now in the Holy Spirit I can love all people even my enemies. 
I am not able to love without the power of Jesus’ name because He is the Spirit of love. 
Today, and each coming day, I ask You to strengthen me to reach out further than what is comfortable or convenient for me in love. 
Jesus, You commanded me not to hate who persecute me and hate me, but to pray for them and love them. 
Dear Jesus, I am asking You in prayer for Your loving power to fulfill me in the Holy Spirit. 
Lord, I need Your guidance, joy, and peace this day and all the days of my life because I have often missed out on it throughout my life. 
Please bless me with Your holy blessings and help me to know that You will always sustain, carry, and rescue me. 
Even when I am old, and my head is covered with gray hairs, I know You are with me. 
In truth, I know that You are with me regardless of my age and regardless of what I am going through. 
Thank You for being there with me through every trial. 
Thank You for forgiving all my sins and giving me a new chance to be united with You and have Your overcoming power over all the evil spirits and over sin. 
I proclaim that I have chosen You, Jesus, to be my Lord and Savior I abide in You, Lord. 
In Your almighty name, I pray. 
Amen.
