Today's Prayer

Prayer Repenting The Sin Of Frustration

Dear Jesus,
I want to confess my sins.
I get so frustrated with people around me and I am tempted to respond with harsh words.
I always show my frustration with my actions and attitude. 
Please, Lord, forgive me for the times I have become so frustrated that I spread irritation rather than Your peace. 
Lord, I know I cannot share what I do not have in my heart. 
I need Your peace to replace the frustration I feel inside. 
I know Your word in the Gospel says that we, as members of one body, are called to live in peace and be thankful. 
Please, Lord, check my heart, and help me reject the spirit of sin. 
I want to be a new person filled with Your Holy Spirit. 
I want to spread Your peace and love. 
Your Spirit is the spirit of love and peace. 
Help me fight off frustrated feelings by remembering to be thankful, seek Your peace, and give You praise. 
In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
