Today's Prayer

A Prayer for Truth

Lord Jesus,
You said that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 
Yes, Lord You are the Light that came to enlighten all those who will accept You and abide in You. 
I come now Lord, asking You to fill me with Your truth and light. 
You said that when the Spirit of truth, Your Holy Spirit, comes, He will guide me into all the truth. 
He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears and tell me what is yet to come. 
Please Lord, I ask You now to come and dwell in me and let me not to love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 
I know that my enemy, the devil, wants nothing more than for my relationships with my family and my friends, to remain broken, irreparable, and irreconcilable. 
But I know for sure, that Your truth, Jesus, sheds light on the situation, providing hope for healing and restoration. 
Lord, in the darkness of my broken relationships, I ask for the light of Your truth. 
Please reveal the enemy’s lies so I can break their agreement and partner only with You. 
Show me what is needed to move forward in Your will. 
I trust Your word and way and choose to walk in it today. 
In Your precious and holy name, I pray. 
Amen.
