Today's Prayer

A Prayer for Mending

My Lord Jesus,
I know You are the mender of broken hearts and the God of all comfort. 
You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. 
I come to You now, Lord, to heal me. 
No matter how dire my situation, I trust that You can hold me close to You and heal me completely. 
Hear my cry Lord, and deliver me from all my troubles. 
The Psalmist said that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. 
I trust in You Lord, and You alone. 
Please Lord, You know how fragile my heart is right now, and I ask You to mend it with Your loving touch. 
I bring all my sorrow to You, trusting You as my Comforter and Friend. 
Thank you for hearing my prayers and I believe that You will answer them in Your perfect time. I will wait patiently to You Lord, believing that You will never forsake me. 
You are my creator who can mend every thing in me and all my situations. 
I pray for Your continued healing, protection, and peace. 
In Jesus’ holy name, I pray. 
Amen.
