Today's Prayer

A Prayer to Strengthen Relationships

Dear Father God,
I come to You today with all the burden that family and friends relationships lay over me and weigh me down. 
They make me doubt my faith with a lot of worldly questions. 
I want to be away from these relationships, but I do not know if that is Your will to do that. 
I pray to You Lord, asking You to cleanse all of my relationships, with family, friends, and community from anything unhealthy. 
If I need to let go of certain relationships pulling me away from You, give me the strength to do so. 
If I need to invest more in certain new relationships to grow closer to You, help me to do so. 
Please Lord, help me not to hurt anybody and the same time not let these relationships hurt me. 
Let me forgive them and intercede for them. 
Lord, I want Your powerful love flow through all of my relationships. 
Guide me to what I need to do with everyone in my life. 
Your word says that I should  be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 
Please Lord, give me patience, kindness, and the wisdom to make healthy relationship decisions. 
Teach me to be better listener and to be peacemaker during conflicts. 
Show me how to see the value in everyone I meet, no matter how different they are. 
Please help me to be loving, trustworthy, and encouraging with everyone I know. 
Lord, I want to thank You for loving me and giving me Your Holy Spirit to help me to obey Your command and be in Your image.
Amen.
