Today's Prayer

Prayer To Intercede For Others

Heavenly Father,
Though You are Creator of the Universe, Lord of all, Alpha and Omega, You delight in a personal relationship with Your Children. 
Lord, I take every opportunity to come before You in prayer, now. 
There are many needs around me. 
Not only me who need You Lord, but many around me need Your help to resist sin and to feel safe in Your presence. 
let me be alert to the countless requests of others and pray on their behalf. 
Help me remember that it is not in my power but in the power of Christ at work that I pray for You to heal the sick, meet the needs of the saints, and bring hope to the people. 
Lord, in this ugly and corrupted world, we all need Your protection. 
All our physical and spiritual needs are in Your hands, Lord. 
We surrender everything to You. 
Please, come now and help us in Your Holy Spirit. 
We ask Your Holy Spirit to comfort us and to cleanse us from all sins. 
I love You, Lord, and ask that I never take the ability to speak directly with You for granted. 
Guide me and direct me, and help me abide in You. 
Help me to pray and intercede not only for me but also for my family and friends who ask me to pray for them. 
I trust in You Lord and I have faith that You will answer my prayers. 
I give You all the glory and praise now and forever, amen.
