Today's Prayer

A Prayer to Refresh Our Purpose

Dear Father God,
I confess that sometimes I feel lost or stuck. 
I need Your help Lord, in those times to remind me of Your word that I am Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. 
Please Lord, renew my passion for serving You and others. 
Please lead me to the good works You have prepared for me, and give me the courage and strength to move forward with everything You want me to do.
Sometimes, I question whether I am making a positive difference or on the right path. 
Please, remind me that the harvest is Yours and it is not my duty to see the spiritual influence and growth on people I serve. 
Lord, I know that I have to preach Your word and transfer Your love and peace to them and this is Your plan for me. 
Please reassure me that You have a good plan for my life and guide me so I follow that plan well. 
Strengthen my confidence in Your calling, and show me opportunities to use my gifts to contribute to this world in all the ways You want me to do so. 
I look forward to You working with me and through me. 
Thank you, God for giving me this opportunity to serve You and Your people.
In Your almighty name, I pray. 
Amen.
