Finding Joy in Our Journey (Philippians 4: 4-7)

“Rejoice in the Lord always.
Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men.
The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 4-7)

In this world we live in troubles and chaos.
Bad news every day of wars and destructions.
Honestly, it is not easy to rejoice in this world as St. Paul encourages us.
We forget happiness when fighting discouragement.
But we must read the verse correct, it says rejoice in the Lord.
If we believe in Christ and get united with Him, it will be easy for us to rejoice in Him.
How?
In Him we see every thing through His eyes in us.
In Jesus, we can easily realize how good He is to us and recognize His stretched hands to protect us each day.
Living in this broken world makes us concentrate only on the problems, missing the good things, large and small, that He gives us each day.
Thus, we should learn to grow a thankful heart, even during hard times, because this is vital for finding strength and endurance.
In the time of troubles we choose to see Jesus' love and kindness when things are tough.
We must make time to enjoy Jesus’ blessings that He rewards us with in our lives on earth and consider His loyalty in our lives.
We must always remember that even in our darkest moments, Jesus is working to change all to our good.
Jesus’ designs for us are consistently beneficial, intentional, and hopeful.
Concentrating on His love and compassion can change our viewpoint and give us fresh energy to persevere.
Living in Christ and He in us makes us always rejoicing cause all what we see and live are blessings and grace from Him.
We, the Christians, our lives are not a short race but a long one.
There will be highs and lows, times of success and hopelessness.
But, during hard times, we must rejoice cause our faith and unity with our Lord, Jesus, are genuinely getting more stronger and bold.
Our highs and lows create spiritual growth and fortify our bond with Jesus.
Therefore, let's accept the path, learn from our errors, enjoy our successes, and always depend on Jesus’ wisdom to guide us.
Amen.
