Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For God’s Wisdom

Father God,
As I come before You and seek wisdom, I ask that You touch my heart and lead and guide me to places in my life where I need to come clean and make changes that honor You. 
O Lord, continue to help me learn wisdom and grant me the ability to apply it to my life. 
I ask this in Your Holy Name. 
As I come into a new day digging into Your Word, reading the Gospel, please continue to open my eyes to the truth and wisdom You lay before me. 
With Your help, grant me the strength to live that wisdom out in my daily life. 
Help me breathe in belief in You and Your Word, and help me exhale unbelief and the lies that prey on my mind and heart. 
Help me hold fast to the Truth as I walk through this day, and strengthen me each time I choose to breathe it in. 
Thank You Father God, for giving me Your Son, Jesus Christ, who came to my world to save me and to reveal to me Your love and compassion. 
You are a good God who cares for me. 
You promised to never forsake me. 
I lean on Your love, gracious God. 
Thank You Jesus for sending Your Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to dwell in me. 
In the Holy Spirit, I can gain all the wisdom and holy overcoming power over the world and its temptation, sin, and death. 
Amen.
