Today's Prayer

A Prayer for Healing Sickness

Lord Jesus,
Your word says in Psalm that when I call out to You, the Eternal One, You will give the order, heal and rescue me from illness. 
Every day I read in the Gospel of Your miraculous healing and I believe that You still heal the same way today. 
I believe that there is no illness You cannot heal. 
I thank You that You love me. 
I know that You hate what my illness is doing to me. 
I know that the devil is the one who made me sick because he is the killer and destroyer from the beginning. 
Please Lord, have mercy on me and heal me. 
I ask, in Your holy precious name, Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness. 
Help me to understand Your plan, and help me to be excited about Your heavenly Kingdom. 
Lord Jesus, thank You that my hope for healing is in You. 
If there are doctors or treatments that You would want to use to heal my disease, I pray that You would guide me to them. 
I ask for wisdom and discernment about which treatments to pursue. 
Jesus, I thank you that my hope is in You. 
Thank You that I belong to You and that You are in control of everything that happens from my first breath to my last sigh. 
I promise You Jesus, that I will repent of all the sins and habits that control me. 
Please help me to submit completely to the Holy Spirit to sanctify me and make me a true child of God. 
Jesus, You know my heart and know that I love You. 
You said that the one who obeys Your commands is the one who really loves You. 
I want to obey You Lord. Please help me to surrender to You and be able to resist the devil. 
Lord, set me free from all the devil’s bonds and strongholds in me. 
In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
