Today's Prayer

A Prayer For Courageous Evangelism

Dear Lord,
I know You want me to share my faith with everyone in my life, and I really want to do that. 
I confess that I fear people’s rejection. 
I confess that I do not have boldness in my speech. 
Please, Lord, give me the courage to discuss my faith. 
Sometimes, I get nervous and do not know what to say, so help me find the right words. 
Guide me, Lord, through the power of Your Holy Spirit. 
You said how people will hear about You and know You without a preacher. 
This is an obligation that You have laid on me, to go and preach Your holy name. 
Please open doors for me to share Your truth, even when people do not want to hear it. 
Let my life show how much You love everyone. 
Please Lord,  help me share the good news by talking and being kind and compassionate. 
Help me Lord, to show Your grace to everyone I meet. 
Please give me the strength to speak confidently about You. 
Let Your strength work through me, and Your love flow through my life into other people’s lives. 
Let my faith attract people, like all the saints’ faith did. 
Thank you, Lord, for giving me this opportunity to share Your love, kindness, and salvation with others. 
I praise Your name with thanksgiving. 
Amen.
