Today's Prayer

A Prayer Of Thanks For God's Direction in Our Life’s Choices

Lord Jesus,
I want to thank You for being my Lord and Savior. 
You came to my world to save me from sin and death. 
You came in a flesh like mine to defeat my enemy, the devil for me. 
You are the only One who is more powerful that the devil and can defeat him for me. 
In Your name I can rebuke him. 
I thank You for You are the only One who is in control of my life. 
Lord, I can make plans, but You determine my steps. 
Thank You for knowing what is best for me, even when I do not understand. 
Thank You for being patient when I feel frustrated when things are not going as planned. 
Lord, thank You for loving me enough to not only save me but also direct me. 
Thank You for taking care of me like a good shepherd who takes care of his flock. 
Thank You for Your protection, provision, and perfect love. 
Help me trust You, knowing that I would not have it any different if I know what You know. 
Thank You for being faithful, trustworthy, and true. 
I love You Lord and I need You. 
Thank You for being all I need at all times and in every situation. 
I praise Your name with thanksgiving. 
Amen.
