Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking Jesus To Help Us Not To Fear

Dear Lord,
I confess that fear has kept me from fully opening my heart to others. 
The sting of rejection and the pain of past relationships make me want to withdraw. 
But I know,  You created me for connection and have given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind not of fear.
Help me to trust Your perfect love to cast out my fears. 
Heal the wounds that make me hesitant to love and be loved. 
Give me the courage to step out in faith, knowing that You see me, You choose me, and You will never reject me. 
Thank You for pursuing me relentlessly and for loving me without condition. 
Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit to sanctify me and make me new. 
Being united with You in the Holy Spirit gives me the privilege to Participate in Your nature.  
I love You Lord. 
I confess with every breath that You are my Lord and Savior. 
In Jesus’s name I pray.  
Amen.
