Protection For Those Who Fear God (Psalm 34:8-11)

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! 
There is no want to those who fear Him. 
The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. 
Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” (Psalm 34:8-11)

Father God is Love. 
He is almighty and full of power. 
Every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord of all, and being reconciled to him, we choose to humble ourselves accordingly. 
God’s protection then extends over us. 
God protects those who are united with Him, those who fear Him, love Him, and obey His commands. 
We have to bless the Lord at all times and praise His name continually. 
Seeking God and His guidance provides both a personal response and deliverance from enemies. 
God’s protection doesn’t mean we won’t have challenges. 
However, the Father promises His presence and intervention. 
The fear of the Lord means approaching with reverence and awe, not terror to run away. 
Godly fear shapes how we live, leading us to say no to sin and walk in peace with God and others. 
The Lord’s protection flows from His nature to those who love Him and walk in His ways. 
Amen.
