Thankfulness Is The Way Into God’s Presence (Psalm 100:4-5)

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:4-5)

The Psalmist is telling us the secret of how to feel and be in God’s presence all the days of our lives.
It is by praising His name with thanksgiving.
If Jesus is our Lord and we are abiding in Him, we will find ourselves very thankful to Him for being our Lord and savior.
We are thankful because He saved us from sin and death and gave us His power to resist all the devil’s temptations and overcome him.
We must live a lifestyle of gratitude.
How?
By doing everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, and being thankful in the process.
This will change our outlook on everything we do.
We do it all in the name of Jesus and give thanks to God because He has allowed us to do it.
St. Paul in his epistle to the Colossians, chapter three, asked us to be thankful, saying, “Be thankful.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:16-17)
