The Answered Prayer (John 14:12-14)

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14)

The power in our prayers is Jesus’ name.
Jesus commands us to pray and ask Him for whatever we want in His name.
All the authority and power are in the name of Jesus.
When we pray in the name of Jesus, we’re invoking His power, His authority, and His victory.
In His name alone can we do and receive all things.
Praying in Jesus’ name means we come to God not based on our own righteousness or merit but on the finished work of Christ.
It is His name that gives our prayers power, and it is His name that causes Father God to respond.
In Jesus’ name we must ask with persistence.
When answer is delayed this does not mean that our prayer is denied.
Sometimes, God is doing something behind the scenes, and our persistence is part of the process.
So we must not stop praying.
We do not give up just because we do not see results right away.
We must keep knocking and asking.
God is so faithful.
Amen.
