Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For God’s Intervention

Dear Lord,
I come to You today asking for Your peace.
I am full of doubt and fear.
I feel anxious all the day specially when I am around people or at work.
I am not confident in Your help and support to me all the time.
I doubt that You are with me all the time or even You can help me.
Forgive me Lord for my doubts.
Please help me to remember that You are the almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth.
You have all the power to change all the bad circumstances to my goodness because I love You Lord.
This is Your promise.
Open my heart Lord, to read Your holy word everyday to remember how much You love me.
You asked me to lay all my burdens on You.
I come to You now Lord, laying all my worries, pain, and hurt under Your feet.
Deliver me Lord, from all these fearful thoughts and feeling of unworthiness.
I feel I am not worthy to have anything from You because I am a sinner.
Forgive me Lord, for all these negative attitudes.
I pray that You come and help me.
I know there are many other people in trouble right now like me and they need Your divine intervention.
There are many people who need You to come through.
You are all-powerful.
You are bigger than our problems.
And You have told me to pray about everything and not to worry about anything.
But, Lord, You know that’s easier said than done.
Even so, I am going to cast my burden on You.
I am going to trust an unknown future to a known God with the confidence that You will get me through whatever I am facing.
May You, Lord, answer my prayers at an unexpected time or in an unexpected way.
In Your almighty name, I pray.
Amen.
