Faith Is The Foundation Of Prayer (Hebrews 11:1, 6-7)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen…..”But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:1, 6-7)

We, as believers in Jesus’ name, have a great privilege to be called the children of God.
We have the position to call our God in heaven as our Father.
We have the opportunity to speak with Him any time and in any place.
He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
Now we have His overcoming power over sin and death.
We have all the fruits of His Spirit.
One of the privileges we have is to talk to Him and pray as His children.
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have as believers.
Prayer is not about using the perfect words or having all the right formulas, but It is about giving our hearts and minds to the Lord with faith that He will answer our prayers.
Jesus Himself told us to ask anything in His will and He will give it to us.
So, how we pray and make our prayers effective?  
How we have the faith that moves mountains?
We all have mountains of sins, confusions, and deceptions that need to be moved.
Faith should be the base of our prayers.
Without faith we will not be given anything.
If we do not believe in the One who we are praying to, how this prayer will be heard?
It will be just speaking empty words into the air.
Jesus said in the Gospel of Mathew, chapter twenty-one, “If you believe,  you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Mathew 21:22)
The effective prayer begins with a heart that fully trusts God and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, whom He had sent to us for our salvation.
This kind of faith that makes us trust in His goodness and love whatever our circumstances look like, knowing that He can do the impossible and change all the bad to our good.
So we all have to come to Jesus with confidence and faith, believing that He not only hears us,  but is fully capable of answering in His perfect way and timing.
