Knock, And It Will Be Opened To You (Mathew 7:7-11)

knock, And It Will Be Opened To You.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!“ (Mathew 7:7-11)

These verses of today shows us how merciful and compassionate Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
He keeps pursuing us even when we run away from Him and do not accept Him.
He is telling us just talk to me and I will listen to you.
I am not far from you, but I am here waiting for you to call Me and I will answer.
Knock My door and I will open to you.
Jesus is waiting for each one of us to open for Him to enter our lives and change it and give us a new nature.
In the Book of Revelation, the Lord says, ”Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus is promising us that if we open the door for Him and hear His voice, He will come to dwell in us.
He will fill us with His eternal life, love, peace and joy.
We sometimes lose hope when we are not able to completely surrender our lives to Him and feel like we will never change.
But Jesus is telling us that He is waiting for us and when we open to Him, He will enter our lives and He will cleanse us and change us to His image and likeness.
We must do our part, which is to open our hearts to Him, and the rest is His part.
He will come and sanctify us and make us holy as He is holy.
Jesus is a good and faithful God. He loves us and He wants to give us peace and rest.
We can absolutely trust our Lord to keep pursuing us with His limitless love.
The word of His mouth has the power to change our hearts.
We must remember the words of the prophet Isaiah, which says, “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” (Isaiah 59:1)
Jesus still seeks and still saves.
Amen
