Give Thanks To The Lord, This Is The Will Of God (1Thessalonians 5:16-18)

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.” (1Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We, the children of God, must learn to give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not only every morning but with every breath we breathe.
we need to give thanks in all circumstances, rather than feeding into a heart of despair.
This ritual not only will it bring us closer to God, but it will also cultivate thankfulness in our lives.
it is important to take time to reflect on being thankful for God, our family, and all of our blessings.
As a family, this is very important because it helps to cultivate a heart of thankfulness within each member of the family.
God has been so good to us and it is important for us to return His love with thankfulness and praise.
After all, every good and perfect gift is from God (James 1:17).
The Psalmist in his book of Psalms, advices us to praise the Lord, and give thanks to Him because He is so good and His love endures forever. (Psalm 106:1)
We need to praise the Lord and give thanks to Him.
We can do these things because He is good and His love endures forever.
If we are going to start practicing a heart of thankfulness, we are going to have to give thanks to the Lord for everything in our life.
When the psalmist says God’s love endures forever, he means that God’s love for us will never weaken nor will it change.
The Lord’s love for us is steadfast and ever present.
When we are struggling to find thankfulness, we need to reflect on this verses.
It helps to remind us that Jesus is a our good Shepherd, who loves us, and came to save us from the prince of this corrupted world, the devil.
Since we know this is true, there is no reason not to give thanks for the Lord every morning and night, and in all circumstances.
Amen.
