Today's Prayer

Prayer For Forgiveness Of Sins

Father God,
Please forgive me for regrets that caused You hurt or that involve sin in my life.
Please forgive me and help me accept Your forgiveness so I can shed the regret and shame that is hindering me from moving forward.
Lord, show me other areas of my life that I am stuck in so that I can let them go as well.
I want to be like Apostle Paul, who was able to let go of the past, and move forward toward what You have for him.
You changed him and made Your minister.
Please change me too to Your image and likeness.
I want to be a true child of God.
Help me Lord, in the Holy Spirit to bring captive every thought to Your obedience.
I want to partner with You and share You with others until one day, we become citizens of Heaven.
Remind me to keep looking forward and to keep looking up at You when the past creeps up in my life.
I want to run the race without carrying a heavy load of past regrets.
Thank You for loving me so much and forgiving me every time I fail.
Thank You for chastening me and pruning me, shedding things of my past so I can uninhibitedly move forward with You.
I look toward the heavenly prize for which You are calling me.
I love You, Lord, and I praise You for Your goodness.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
